Rumor has it that 4minute will be following up their May success, 'What's Your Name?'! They have finished recording the title track and filmed the associated music video, now they just have to announce the comeback date. This time around, they will be focusing on a cute girl group concept, rather than the sexy concept that grew to be so popular. 4minute will have fierce competition from the wide array of girl groups announcing summer comebacks, will they be able to stay on the rising trend?
Media outlet OSEN has stated that after nine months, Ailee will be ready for a comeback. Once again she will be showing off her strong stage presence and incredible talent as a female solo artist and will showcase a side of her never seen before.
Batten down the hatches, because Dynamic Duo is about to return with new music! Choiza and Gaeko will release their 7th full-length album this July. The boys have had a consistent history of making hard-hitting rap tracks and soulful R&B-tinged slow-burners, and it looks like they’re going to keep on at full-speed, running signs like they don’t matter.
What will the new album sound like? Can Dynamic Duo top fire tracks like “Sauna” and the pained “Don’t Say Goodbye”?
In a month, spin their new LP and let the needle drop into Dynamic Duo’s Korean dreams.
Korea’s edgiest girl group 2NE1 is gearing up for their most ambitious comeback yet. Yang Hyun Suk, CEO of YG Entertainment, revealed that 2NE1 will be releasing material for the rest of the year.
The news has been a long time coming. The last time Blackjacks heard new material from 2NE1 was in 2012 with “I Love You.” After repeated promises of a 2NE1 comeback in that year, the music never materialized.
To make up for lost time (or perhaps other lost assets, depending on your perspective), 2NE1 will release their long-anticipated comeback album piecemeal over the remainder of this year, with music videos included.
The first song to be released will be early July, called “Falling in Love.” Reportedly, the song is tinged with a reggae flavor, which was last seen on a remix of debut material “I Don’t Care.”
2NE1 is planning concerts that are expected to begin in October.
What will the girls do next? Will the comeback’s reality live up to the hype?
